i dug those statistics up once, he has put Kid's manga on hiatus... SEVEN times since he started it... and it is STILL on hiatus right now for... ah crap i think it is five years now? maybe more? each time i believe he was 'off Kid' he was churning out Conan chapters instead. i personally think he is 'done' with Kid's manga (creatively) and Shinichi/Conan is just 'speaking' to him more strongly than Kid is.
